A downloadable RPG for Windows

Reverie: A Wholesome RPG is a passion project and love letter to old-school jrpgs, top-down zelda games and kirby-style kid-friendly cosmic horror (though that part isn't really part of the demo).

While this game's core elements should be familiar to anyone who's played a jrpg - turn-based combat, a choice of class for every character, a group of friends going on an adventure - its goal is to avoid the typical set of classes, worlds, and aesthetics already done by tons of other games.

Install instructions

This game requires the RPGmaker XP RunTime Package to run, which can be found here. Make sure you get the XP one!

The game also uses the Reverie RPG font found in the game's install folder. Install that or text will not display.
